Lady-Ann Essuman – Supervising Director

Lady-Ann Essuman is a seasoned corporate and commercial lawyer specialising in negotiations, corporate governance, restructuring, regulatory and compliance management, company secretarial services and business advisory.
She is admitted to the Ghana Bar, is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner and holds a certificate in Negotiation & Leadership from the Harvard School of Law. She also has an LL.M. in Comparative Commercial Law from BPP Law School in London, the U.K. and a B.A. in Law and Justice Studies from Rowan University in New Jersey, U.S.A. She is currently a sworn-in Commissioner for Oaths in Ghana, a member of the Ghana Institute of Restructuring and Insolvency Practitioners (GARIA), a member of the Institute of Directors-Ghana, an Executive Member and the Legal Counsel for the Council on Foreign Relations, Ghana. She is also the Supervising Director of Veritas International Nominees and Trustees PRUC and its subsidiary Aletheia Law, a boutique law firm in Accra, specialising in corporate and commercial law, regulatory and compliance management services.
Lady-Ann practised law with Bentsi-Enchill, Letsa and Ankomah prior to taking up these roles. She also worked as a Company Secretary at Trustees Services Limited for three years, where she advised major domestic and foreign clients on corporate governance issues. She worked as a Clerk to the Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Anin Yeboah. She was the Legal, Regulatory, Compliance and Corporate Secretary for the leading mobile payment company, Zeepay Ghana Limited. In 2014, Lady-Ann established LAK Investment Consult to assist SME companies to become investment ready and to assist them in attracting the right investment for their company. Lady-Ann also has international experience. She worked with Smithfield Partners in London, U.K. and with the US Senator, Robert Menendez in New Jersey, U.S.A.

Ewurama Osam Tawiah –  Senior Associate

Ewurama is a distinguished corporate and commercial legal practitioner who was trained in both Ghana and England. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LL.B. Hons) degree from the University of Buckingham, UK and holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in the Legal Practice Course from BPP Law School in London, U.K. She was also called to the Ghana Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana. She has done numerous volunteer work with several reputable organisations in the UK such as Citizen’s Advice and the Law Centre Network. She has also worked with cross-border law firms, where she gained vast experience in company and commercial law, intellectual property, civil aviation law and real estate law. Ewurama has worked on various corporate transactions such as the incorporation and regularisation of companies, conducting legal forensics, drafting corporate and commercial agreements for various sectors including energy and natural resources, insurance and corporate finance and securities. Ewurama has the interest of clients at heart and always seeks to meet timelines.

Verissa Odame-Koranteng – Junior Associate

Verissa is a dedicated legal professional whose journey with the Firm began as a Pupil and she has progressed to become a Junior Associate. She earned her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Central University and was subsequently admitted to the Ghanaian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana.

Before joining us, Verissa gained valuable experience through internships at reputable institutions like Vivo Energy Ghana Limited, Darko Law, and the Law Offices of S. M. Quantson. She also completed her National Service with Hollard Insurance Ghana. She has actively participated in diverse corporate transactions, including company incorporation, regulatory compliance, and drafting of corporate and commercial agreements spanning various sectors including real estate and energy, as well as performing due diligence for clients. In addition to her transactional roles, she has written and contributed to insightful articles for the Firm.

With her sights set on a successful career as a corporate and commercial legal expert, Verissa’s reliability and organizational skills makes her an asset to the Firm

Omoyele Sandrine Adamon – Assistant Company Secretary

Omoyele Sandrine Adamon is a bilingual law graduate with exceptional analytical research and decision-making skills. She obtained her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Lancaster University Ghana. Prior to joining Veritas International Nominees and Trustees Limited, she worked with several reputable institutions such as Transnational Academic Group Ltd and CYST Company Limited. Omoyele has garnered extensive experience in the corporate environment and honed her expertise in corporate governance, human relations, corporate secretarial work, company compliance and regularisation as well as company restructuring. Omoyele intends to further her education in law and become a legal practitioner.

Sandra Oboshie Dadebo – Administrative Executive

Sandra is our pleasant administrative executive who has experience in the private and public sector. She holds a BSc degree in Administration from the University of Ghana Business School and has worked with several reputable institutions, where she obtained extensive experience in Administration. Prior to joining Aletheia Law, she worked with the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (Head Office) in the Office of the Director of Finance and at Lands Commission in their Legal Department and Human Resource Department. Sandra is also working towards being an HR practitioner.

Priscilla Alorb – Administrative Assistant

Priscilla is our passionate and self-driven Clerk who has worked in both the private and public sector. She has over 2 years’ experience in statutory and regulatory filings at the Courts of Ghana, the Registrar of Companies, and other regulators. She seeks to continually evolve and be highly valuable in her field of work
